Prairie Grove Herald
Thursday, February 9, 1922
The Rhea community was shocked Thursday night when it was learned that Mrs. Fred Cohea had passed suddenly away about 9:30 o'clock. She had been as well as usual and before retiring had a romp with her two boys. Shortly after she retired she called Mr. Cohea saying she believed she was spitting up blood, and before anything could be done she had passed into the great beyond.
Mary Ellen Walker was born near Robinson, in Benton county, March 14, 1886. She was united in marriage with Mr. Fred Cohea Jan. 14, 1914. To this union was born three children, two sons and a baby girl now three months old. Beside her husband and babies she is survived by four sisters and three brothers. She was a devout Christian and a member of the Methodist church since her girlhood.
Te funeral service was held at Prairie View Friday, conducted by Rev. W.W. Downum and the burial was made in the Rose cemetery.
