Charles Leroy Havner, 47, a resident of Norfork, died Friday at Calico Rock Medical Center. He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Adams Masonic Lodge N. 164 A&FM of Norfork.
Mr. Havner was born Oct 20, 1929, in Arkansas to the former Lucille King and the late Adolph Havner.
Survivors include three sons, Larry Havner of Mt. Home, Carl and David Havner, both of Norfork; a daughter, Wanda Lee Havner of Norfork; his mother of Norfork; three brothers, A.D. Havner of Salem, and Clarence Havner and Charley Honneycutt, both of Norfork; two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Moody of Jordan, and Mrs. Maxine Loosey of Norfork; one grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday at Galatia Methodist Church, officiated by Brother J.P. Friend. Pallbearers were Marvis Sherrill, Wade Killian, DeWight Teegarden, Theo Funkhouser, E.L. Southard and Robert Skidmore.
Graveside Masonic services were held at Galatia Cemetery under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home of Mt. Home.
