B. 1800 - April 20, 1861
1860 Lee County Census shows Peter Mangon, 60, born in France along with wife Elizabeth, 45, Bertha, 16; Charles, 13, all born in France, then Lidy, 10, born La, Ellen, 6, born Tn, and another child, 2, born in Ar. Seven other workers are listed in the household, all stave makers except one ox driver. It would appear Mr Mangon ran a stave mill.
