Obituary of the late Rev. James Hill, who was born Jul. 26, 1881, to the parents of Mr. & Mrs. George Berry Hill, @ Sherrill, AR. He married Miss Serriner(Serener) Backus, Nov. 15, 1903 to this union, 4 children were born. He joined the New Dora Baptist Church @ an early age under the late Rev. John Sims & remained a loyal & faithful member until the end came. He loved this church & did all he could for it's advancements, coming through the heat & the cold. He departed thsi life Friday, Jan. 8, 1971. He is survived by two Sons, Mr. David Hill & Mr. Joe Hill of N.L.R.,AR. Two Daughters, Mrs. Florence Watson of Los Angeles, CA., and Mrs. Elgie Johnson of N.L.R.,AR. Twenty-five Grandchildren, Fifty-four Great Grandchildren, 3 Great Great Grandchildren, one Niece, Two Nephews & a host of other Relatives & Friends.
