LINCOLN — Georgia G. Poe, 97, of Lincoln died Oct. 2, 2002, at Westville (Okla.) Nursing Home. She was born
April 12, 1905, in Lincoln to Will and Mary
Prescott Cheatham. She was a member of God Church in Westville. She was preceded in death by her husband, P.L. Poe.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Smith of Lincoln; one brother, Nathan Mefford of Lincoln; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove with Mike Hayes officiating.
Burial will be in Cheatham Cemetery at Lincoln.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
