Beulah McGoldrick
Ravenden — Beulah Leona Lawrence McGoldrick, 98, passed away Saturday, Oct. 13, 2007, in Lawrence Memorial Hospital at Walnut Ridge.
She was born Feb. 25, 1909, near Ravenden and was the daughter of the late Lucius and Lizzie Pickett Lawrence. On Sept. 19, 1927, she married Claude McGoldrick. They worked in the automobile industry at Flint, Mich., but retired back to Ravenden in the late 1960s.
Mrs. McGoldrick was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, a member of the Ravenden Home Extension and a great mentor for all the family. Though childless, she was a mother to so many.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, Leonard Lawrence; and one sister, Alene Frisbee.
She is survived by one sister, Nina Clements Davis of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be tonight from 5-7 in McNabb Funeral Home.
A graveside service will be Tuesday morning at 10 in Opposition Cemetery southwest of Ravenden with Jerry Clements officiating.
