Funeral services for Mrs. Katheryn Elizabeth Moore, 79 years of age, was held at the Methodist church here Wednesday. Burial was in Highland cemetery. Mrs. Moore, who was born near Atlantic, Ga., June 5, 1856, moved here in 1871. She was married to John Calvin Moore Dec. 28, 1874( 23 Dec 1875) To them were born eight children, six of who survive. Her death came at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Russell; on Adams mountain. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Russell, Mrs. Lee Wisdom and Mrs. Winifred Jackson, both of Glendora, Calif., and Mrs. Ray Knight of Clinton, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Shambarger, Fayetteville, Mrs. Cora McWhistler, Los Angeles; and one brother, John W Head, Altus.
