Zora Lou Sledge, 63, of Salesville, died Thursday (July 22, 1993) at St. John's Regional Health Center at Springfield.
Services will be at 10AM Monday at Galatia Assembly of God Church with Rev. Lee Nirschl officiating. Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9AM to 9PM Sunday at Roller Funeral Home with the family present from 6 to 8PM.
Mrs. Sledge, who had worked for Beech Aircraft, was born at Old Joe, Aug 28, 1929, daughter of Enoch and Stella Clark Adams. She grew up at Old Joe.
Her parents, a brother and a sister preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First Christiam Church at Mt. Home.
Other memberships included the VFW Auxilliary at Norfork, and the Food Bank at Norfork.
Survivors included her husband, Raymond Sledge of Salesville; two sons, Raymond Sledge, Jr. of Valley Center, KS and Rex Allen Sledge of Independence, KY; a brother , Gene Adams of Norfork; and six sisters, Jessie Zornes of Iola, KS, Nettie Joe Whitaker of Calico Rock, Hattie Whitfield of Norfork, Lillian Nimmo of Huntsville, TX, Earnestine Clark of Norfork, and Mildred Page of Mt. Home.
She also is survived by four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
The family suggested memorials to the American Heart Association.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
