John T. Williams of Norfork died Tuesday (May 13, 1997) at Baxter County Regional Hospital. He was 50.
Mr. Williams was born Sep 29, 1946, in Jackson, MI to Jefferson and Mary Murray Williams. He married Dawn Tucker on April 16, 1966, in Jackson, MI. He moved here in 1971.
He was self-employed with J&D Dozing Service. He was a member of the Living Word Church and served as a host home parent through Juvenile Service.
He is survived by his wife, at home; his parents, in Norfork; a son Kelly Williams of Norfork; a daugther, Christine Lee and her husband, Church of Norfork; two brothers, Jim and Richard Williams of Norfork; a sister Mary Goldsmith of Mt. Home; and three grandchildren, Eden, Avery and Amber Lee of Norfork.
Visitation will be 9AM-9PM today at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8. Pastor Dave Lundy will officiate at the service at 10AM Thrusday at Living Word Church. Burial will be in Galatia Cemetery. Pallbeares will be Jim Williams, Kurt Parnell, Kelly Williams, Chuck Lee, Brad Goldsmith and Delmar Parnell. Honorary pallbeares will be Jim Baird, Stanley Pitchford, Theo Funkerhouser, Everett Parnell, D. Herbert, Carl King, Glen Drake, Carl Veiner, Eudel Southard and Richard Williams.
Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Home Host Program, the Trinity Broadcast Network or Living Word Church.
