Grland R. Wickersham, 43, of Norfork, and employee of the US Corps of Engineers, died Saturday at Norfork. He was a former Marine and a World War II veteran.
The son of the late Arch E. Wickersham and Susan Sword Wickersham, he was born April 29, 1924, at Southgate, CA. He had resided in this area for most of his life.
Survivors include a brother, Eugene Wickersham of Fresno, CA; and three sisters, Mrs. June (Vero) Hall of Norfork, Mrs. Pauline Rosengrants of Paramount, CA and Mrs. Nellie Landavazo of LaPuente, CA.
Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Galatia Methodist Church, near Norfork, with Bro. Bill Richardson, minister of the Mt. Home Church of Christ, officiating. Interment was in the Galatia Cemetery, under the direction of the Mcclure-Smith Service.
Pallbearers were Lenford, Haney, Gene Horn, Everett Parnell, Tom Parnell, Larry Woody and Jim Parnell.
