Died October 15, 2009, Bakersfield, Ozark County, Missouri.
Son of Joe Henry and Mary Alice Voiles Fowler.
Married Mamie Joe Webb, October 27, 1963, Cotton Plant, Poinsett County, Arkansas.
Joe Roger Fowler, age 78, of Bakersfield, Missouri, formerly of Henderson, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, October 15, 2009 at his residence with his family surrounding him.
He was born June 30, 1931 in Griffithville, Arkansas to Joe Henry and Mary Alice (Voiles) Fowler.
Roger married Mamie Joe Webb October 27, 1963 in Cotton Plant, Arkansas.
He started working for Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department in 1956 and retired in 1987 with 31 years of faithful service.
Roger is survived by three sons: Randy and wife Kelly Fowler and grandsons Jeremy, Nathan and Zach Fowler of Bakersfield, Missouri, Mike and wife Leeann Fowler of Pottersville, Missouri and Terry Fowler of Quebec, Canada and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife: Mamie Joe Fowler, his parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Interment was in Custer-Herron Cemetery.
