Son of L. B. and Ocie Ola Holbrook Burfield.

Mr. Bobby Burfield, 66 of Henderson passed away April 10, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Bobby Burfield was born September 6, 1939 in Little River Township, AR to L. B. and Ocie Ola (Holbrook)Burfield. He served in the US Army from 1958 until 1964. He married Jeanette Burrow October 24, 1959. They moved to Henderson in 1972 from Memphis. Bobby was the former owner and operator of the Meat Shop. He retired from Harp’s Grocery Store in 2002 where he was a meat cutter. Bobby was a charter member and a deacon at the First Baptist Church in Henderson and he was also a member of the Henderson V.F.D.
Bobby is survived by his wife Jeanette Burfield, daughter Amanda G. Burfield of Columbia, MO and brother Kenneth Dale Burfield and his wife Cindy of Fordland, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Marion Dallas Burfield.
Visitation for Bobby will be Wednesday, 12-9:00 p.m. at the Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will 10:00 a.m., Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Henderson with Brother Van Brown and Preacher Gene McCoy officiating. Burial will be in the Custer-Herron Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church in Henderson.
