Coy Andrew Mantooth, 85, of Cecil, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 in Fort Smith.
He was born January 26, 1926, in the Oak Bend Community of Franklin County, Arkansas to James Thomas Mantooth and Esther O'Neal Mantooth.
He was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Basque Mantooth; two stepsons, Jim and Bob Childers; and two brothers, Bill and Jim Mantooth.
Funeral service was at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark, under direction of Shaffer Funeral Home of Ozark.
Pallbearers are Scott and Randy Childers; Aaron, Colin, and Jake Mantooth; and Jason and Derrick Haney.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathy Hart, of Fort Smith; two sons, Larry Mantooth of Lavaca and Ron Mantooth of Cecil; a sister Anita Turner of Ozark; a brother Herbert Mantooth of Little Rock; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Helen Jean Mantooth, 81, of Cecil died Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, in Cecil. She was born Oct. 22, 1926, in Jethro Community. She was a homemaker and the widow of Oscar Childers.
Funeral will be 3 p.m. Monday at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel in Ozark with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark.
She is survived by her husband, Coy; two sons, Larry Mantooth of Fort Smith and Ron Mantooth of Cecil; a stepdaughter, Kathy Hart of Fort Smith; six grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, three great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scott and Randy Childers, Jason Haney, Colin and Aaron Mantooth and Slade Wood.
The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
