Timothy James Odom the son of his mother and stepfather, Joanner (Simmons) Odom Noble and Jackie Noble of Hoxie; his father and stepmother, James and Laura Odom.

HARRISBURG -- Timothy James Odom, 30, of Harrisburg died Friday, July 22, in a swimming accident.
Born at Walnut Ridge, he was a carpenter and of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include one daughter, Christina Odom of Harrisburg; his mother and stepfather, Joanner and Jackie Noble of Hoxie; his father and stepmother, James and Laura Odom of Trumann; one sister, Melinda Cullins of Harrisburg; one brother, Bobby Simmons of Springfield, Mo.; one stepsister, Laura Elizabeth Noble of McComb, Ill.; his maternal grandmother, Pauline Simmons of Hoxie; and his paternal grandmother, Claudine Odom of Bay.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Vickie Barnes.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Strangers Home Cemetery, with Samuel Spurlock and Ted Simmons officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.
No visitation is planned.
