**Jeweldine Frakes Morris

Jeweldine Frakes Morris, 83, of Walnut Ridge, died Feb. 9, 2013, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Born Nov. 4, 1929, in Alicia, she was the daughter of Samuel Red and Beulah Polston Frakes. She lived in Lawrence County most of her life. She was a homemaker and and a cook for the Davy Crockett Restaurant in Walnut Ridge and the 76 Truck Stop. She was a member of the Hoxie Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, L.C. "Bud" Morris, in 2002; two brothers, Roy Frakes and Liburn Leon Frakes; and a sister, Syble Sherrod.

Survivors include a son, Jeff Morris and wife Libbey, West Memphis; two brothers, John Frakes and wife Mozel, Walnut Ridge, and Terry Frakes and wife Mary, Pocahontas; two sisters, Willene Pilkinton and husband Charles, Pocahontas, and Alline Brown and husband L.D., Imboden; six grandchildren, Brandon Morris, Katie Morris, Justin Bass, Heather Macom, Max Morris and Haley Hickey; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is today from 2-3 p.m. at House-Gregg Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
