Funeral services for Mrs. Redith Porter, age 72 of Mountain Home will be Monday, 10 AM at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Custer Herron Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, 12-9:00 PM at the Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 5-7:00 PM. Mrs. Porter passed away Thursday at the Baxter Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Redith Porter was born August 13, 1932 in Mountain Home. She graduated from Mountain Home High School in 1952. Redith married Edwin Porter June 8, 1952 in Mountain Home. They were married 53 years and 1 day. Edwin and Redith owned and operated the Porter Gulf Station for 26 years, where she was the bookkeeper. Mrs. Porter was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Mountain Home. She enjoyed quilting and reading her Bible.
Mrs. Redith Porter is survived by her husband Ed Porter of the home, daughter, Cindy DePriest and her husband Dan of Rogers, AR; two grandsons: Jared and Justin Wilhite who are both students at U of A in Fayetteville.
