Leslie Jim Jeffery
Mr. Leslie “Jim” Jeffery, age 76, of Mountain Home, passed away Sunday at St. Johns Mercy Hospital in Springfield, MO. Funeral services, conducted by Rev. Alexander will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednseday at Roller Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Custer-Herron Cemetery in Henderson.
Mr. Jeffery was born Aug. 7, 1932 in Sturgis, South Dakota to James and Ruth Roberts Jeffery.
He attended the Oakland Grade School in Mountain Home. He served in the U.S. Army. He moved to Dallas, Texas in 1958 and owned Mobile Tile Setting. He retired to Mountain Home in 1993. He enjoyed restoring historic vehicles & caring for his friends at Baxter Retirement Village.
Survivors include a son, Marcus (Christine) Jeffery of Alvarado, Texas; 2 sisters: June Woods of Mountain Home and Louise Davidson of Danville, California; 4 brothers: John Taylor of Springdale, Arkansas, Jerry Taylor of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Ronnie Taylor of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas and Joe Taylor of New Jersey. Three granddaughters: Ashley, Mariah and Atalee Jeffery, all of Alvarado, Texas.
Preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jackie Taylor.
