Ada Elizabeth AARON CARSON

Elm Springs Cemetery
Washington County,
Arkansas

Birth: Dec. 21, 1873
Death: Jan. 25, 1914

Two more deaths from smallpox are reported from near Elm Springs in the same families previously afflicted. R.H. Aaron, a brother of Mrs. Carson[Ada Elizabeth Aaron], the first victim of the disease, died Sunday. He was 47 years of age and unmarried. Henry Holloway, whose wife died about two weeks ago, died Sunday also. Mrs. Holloway and Mrs. Carson were sisters and it seems as though the ravages of the disease will com near wiping out the two families. Several children in the two families are quite ill and one or two cases are reported elsewhere in the Elm Springs neighborhood despite the restrictions of the quarantine. [Rogers Democrat, Rogers, Benton County, Arkansas, Feb. 19, 1914]
