CRAIG, Minnie WELCH - (from Elm Springs) The remains of Mrs. Albert Craig, who died in Montana Sept. 25, arrived here Friday night and she was buried in the Elm Springs cemetery Sunday. The funeral services were held in the Methodist church, Rev. Kelley being in charge, and were attended by hundreds of friends of the deceased. Besides her husband and parents Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Welch, she leaves a brother, two sisters and two children, one of whom is a baby only a few days old. Her sister, Mrs. Will Holloway is the only member of her parents' family now residing here but all were here Sunday but her father and brother who are in Kansas.

{from Blewford} A very sad occurrence took place in the home of Albert G. Craig when death visited his home September 25 in far away Montana and took from him his companion. She was formerly Minnie Welch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Welch who until recently lived about two and one-half miles from Woodlawn. The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church. Her remains were brought from her home at Hinsdale to the home of her girlhood near Woodlawn. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.H. Kelley at the M.E. Church at Elm Springs, after which the remains were interred in Elm Springs cemetery. The deceased was about twenty-five years old. She leaves a husband and two little children to mourn her death besides father, mother, two sisters, two brothers and a multitude of friends. The entire neighborhood seems deeply moved with pity and sympathy for the bereaved ones, but all rejoice in the fact that she was prepared to go and met death as only a follower of Jesus can.

Albert Craig, who came in several days ago from Hinsdale, Montana bringing the remains of his wife to be buried near her old home, left Monday afternoon. The probabilities are that as soon as he can dispose of his property in Montana he will return to this section to make his home.
