McMASTER, H. - (from Elm Springs) H. McMaster, living a short distance west of Tontitown, died Tuesday night of apoplexy. He had been to Springdale during the day and retired at night, seemingly as well as usual. His struggles awakened his wife about ten o'clock and he expired about an hour later. Mr. McMaster was 70 years of age and had lived in this section about sixteen years, having come here from Kansas. He served in the Federal army during the war between the states. His body will be interred Thursday at the Elm Springs cemetery. He leaves a wife and five children.
