Married (2) Helen A. Kafaro, June 19, 1937, Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.

Paul Mikels, 68, of Henderson a retired Machinist for the Burlington Railroad, died Thursday at Baxter General Hospital. He was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church of Mountain Home, a Mason and past worshshipful master of Hinsdale, Ill., Lodge No. D 31, AF&AM and was employed here by the Hodges and Nitt Company

Mr. Mikes was born at Wilkomysky, Lithuania, May 4, 1907, the son of the Late August and Adele Meyer Mikelkawitsch. Married to Helen Kafaro June 19, 1937 at Chicago, he moved to this area in 1971 from Clarendon Hills, Ill.

Surviving are his wife, of Henderson and a brother, George Mikels of Clarendon Hills, another brother, Fred Mikels. preceded him in death.

Services were conducted Monday at the Roller Chapel by Rev. Ehard Roths, pastor of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Custer-Herron Cemetery of Henderson, under the direction of the Roller Funeral Home. Masonic services were held at the graveside.

Pallbearers were John Greros, Clifford Johnson, Walter Nichols, Harry Niemann, Adam Stripelk and Clarence Wennerstrom.
