Mrs. Marie Hester, 82, of Knoxville died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, at AMI St.Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville.
She was a member of Cabin Creek Baptist Church, widow of Charles F. Hester,and daughter of the late Vince Duncan and Mytie Edith Easley West.
She is survived by four daughters and one son-in-law, Patsy Rogers of Russellville, Vivian and Larry Cox of Loganville, Ga., Bonnie Hester of PalmBeach, Fla., and Doris Hester of Arlington, Texas; three sons and daughters-in-law, James C. and June Hester of Knoxville, Wilbur L. and Alta
Hester of Danville, and Howard F. and Sherry Hester of Palestine, Texas;three sisters, Billie Fly of Conroe, Texas, Ella May Cox of Victoria, Texas, and Janie Reid of Porter, Texas; 21 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Funeral was at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at Cabin Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Blair officiating.
Burial was in Lamar Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Cox Funeral Home.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
