Buford L. Harbison, 76 of Jonesboro died Tuesday July 26, 2005 at his residence. He was born in the Arnold Community, East of Swifton, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey Jackson and Alice Deborah Deatherage Harbison, his sister Lois Ferrell and an infant brother Amos Brown Harbison.

He was a dual member of the Jonesboro Masonic Lodge and the Walnut Ridge Masonic Lodge. He joined the Masonic Lodge in 1962 and the Scottish Rite in 1965. He attended Trinity Church in Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 29, 2005 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Steve Farmer and David Decker officiating with burial to follow in Strangers Home Cemetery near Alicia with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are Clay White, Chris White, Cortney White, Danny Ring, Chad Harbison, Grant Harbison and Jarred Carter. Honorary pallbearers are J. W. & Winnie Hulen, Lehmon & Louvell Duncan, Herbert Lee & Mary Davis, William I & Angie Rainwater.
