Colleen Mary LYLE

Lamar Cemetery
Johnson County,
Arkansas

May 11,1935 - February 25,2007

Colleen was such a wonderful spirited person! I will carry her love, smile, and laughter with me always. She attended the same church as my husband and I when we got married. She believed in us and attended our wedding as one of our "witnesses". She was so proud to be a Christian, telling us she convered from being a Catholic. She was open and willing to share in her Christian experiences with anyone that was willing to listen to her. We had lost contact with her and Don after we moved but her memories still remain with us here years later! She was such a special person!

She "was born in Brilton, South Dakota to the late Arthur Lee Vickers and the late Ruby Ella Cain Vickers. She was a Home Maker, a member of the Trinity Chapel, and a born again Christian.

She is survived by her husband of thirteen years, Donald Eugene Lyle; four children, Diane Wolff of Wheaton, Minnesota, Merl Wolff of Lorena, Texas, Brett Wolff of Elkins, Arkansas, & Leaon Star of Lamar, Arkansas; four brothers, Mick Vickers of Rapid City, South Dakota, Patrick Vickers of Weeki Wachee, Florida, Larry Vickers of Hermosa, South Dakota, & Leon Vickers of Claremont, South Dakota; one sister, Nancy Gourley of Corwith, Iowa; three stepchildren, Nolan Lyle, Robin Piott, & Angela Lyle; twelve grandchildren; two step grandchildren; & four great-grandchildren."
