Mrs. Herman Greathouse, the former Cora Dolson, 74, a resident of Route 6, Fayetteville, died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born in Muscatine, Iowa April 19, 1894, the daughter of George and Allie Kate Dolson, and was married to Herman Greathouse Nov. 20, 1912.

She is survived by her husband and a son, Billy Greathouse, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Fleenor and Mrs. Alice Lighfoot, both of Walla Walla, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs. Etta Rogers of Garden Grove, Calif. and Mrs. Beulah Harris of Rogers.

Funeral service will he 10 a.m. Wednesday at Watson Mortuary with burial in Elm Springs Cemetery.

Herman W. Greathouse, 89, of Fayetteville died Sunday in Fayetteville. He was born Nov. 6, 1890 in Greathouse Springs.

He was a retired canning factory operator and farmer. He was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Wiggins Memorial United Methodist Church of Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife, Lula Cate Greathouse of the home; one son, Billy Greathouse of Greathouse; two daughters Irene Fleenor and Alice R. Lightfoot, both of Walla Walla, Wash.; one step-son, David Rosebeary of Arkansas City, Kan.; two sisters, Maude Allen of Springdale and Margaret White of Little Rock; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Moore's Chapel. The Rev. Charles E. Watt will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.
