1859 Ohio - Jan 1929 Cave Springs Benton Co AR
NICHOLS, Amos B. - Amos B. Nichols of Cave Springs died at the Hurley hospital here Sunday of paralysis. He was stricken about two months ago and brought to the hospital for treatment. His wife also suffered a stroke three weeks ago. He was nearly 70 years of age. Mr. Nichols was born in Ohio in 1859 and came to Arkansas 50 years ago 40 years of which had been spent in the Springdale neighborhood. For the past three years he had been a resident of Cave Springs. Funeral services and burial were held at Elm Springs Tuesday. When a young man he had one of his feet crushed by a heavy log while cutting timber on the White river. he had been a cripple since that time.
