Russell T. Brady, age 86 of Mountain Home, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2014 at the Baxter Regional Medical Center. Mr. Brady was born August 23, 1926 in Carpentersville, Illinois to Thomas J. and Stella E. (Extrom) Brady. On October 18, 1947 he married Doris Mae Zink in Geneva, Illinois. Mr. Brady was a United States Navy Veteran who served his country during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a gentleman who never complained, and always had kind words for others. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, and racing slot cars.
Russell T. Brady is survived by a sister, Virginia Bedgerow of Elgin, Illinois, 2 nephews and a niece, and good friend and caregiver, Kathleen Elumbaugh of Mountain Home. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and his little dog whom he loved very much, Snowflake.
Services will be private under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
