Catherine Emaline Oels died October 30. She was born April 12, 1852, and married J. H. Oels January 3, 1869. They had 11 children: 3 boys and 5 girls survive: W. T. Oels of Bentley Ridge; G. E. Oels of Kansas City; J. F. Oels of Mountain Home, Ark; Mrs. Bell Maynards of Kansas City; Nettie Talburt of Springfield; Francis Haley of Springtown; Annie Bodenhamer of Gamaliel, Ark. and Tildia Henderson of Pigeon.
(Note: The surname was spelled Ohles on their marriage records in Jefferson County, Missouri.)
