Robert G. Oels, 77, of Mountain Home passed away Thursday, July 6, 2006. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Lower Oakland Cemetery in Mountain Home.
Robert was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Gamaliel to John and Anna (Cox) Oels. A lifetime area resident, he married Lois Douglas Sept. 28, 1948, in Mountain Home and worked most of his life as the owner of a well-pump setting business. An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed hunting and gardening.
Robert is survived by his wife Lois; daughter Roberta Vaughan; son Douglas (Sherrill) Oels; grandsons Brian Adams and Aaron Oels; brother Leon Oels; sisters Ethel Oels, Lois Hopper and Yvonne Ross; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials may be made to East Oakland Church of Christ.
Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
