Mrs. Catherine Amelia Marks, wife of the late John Hardie Marks, of Fordyce, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. G. Elliott, 501 Lyons Lane at 4:45 a.m. today. Besides Mrs. Elliott, she is survived by two other daughters. Mrs. Bessie Russell of Harmony Grove and Miss Audrey Marks of Little Rock. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Fordyce Methodist Church. (Camden News - May 8, 1937)
