Green Forest, Arkansas
Frances Russell, aged 89, wife of the late William Russell, died at the home of her daughter, Bessie Standlee, in Grandview on August 15, 1947 following a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at Grandview Baptist Church and burial was in Grandview Cemetery. Mrs. Russell was born on March 5, 1858 in Carroll County. She is survived by three sons, Roy Russell of Eureka Springs, Riley Russell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Ray Russell of Twin Falls, Idaho; and four daughters, Oma Karnes of Babbitt, Nevada, Rosa Porter of Modesto, California, Lissie Dillow of Oregon City, Oregon, and Bessie Standlee of Grandview.
