Services held for Don Skiver
Don J. Skiver, 57, of Route 5, Mountain Home, died Sunday at his residence on the West Road.
The son of Charles S. Skiver and the former Mary Catherine Biggers, Mr. Skiver was born here on November 4, 1915. He was a Baptist and a lifetime resident of Baxter County.
Survivors include a brother, James Eldon Skiver, of Mountain Home; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Watson of Mountain Home and Mrs. Charlene Smith of Delta, OH; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were scheduled Wednesday afternoon at the McClure Chapel with Rev. Troy Melton of Mountain Home officiating. Interment was in the Oakland Cemetery on U.S. Highway 62 East, under the direction of the McClure Service.
Pallbearers were Don Alley, Lloyd Fisk, Hugh Hackler, Rex Bodenhamer, Jack Gregory and Odus Hargrave.
