Married Sarah Frances Grant, March 12, 1869, Dade County, Missouri.

The Baxter Bulletin, Mountain Home, Arkansas, August 20, 1920:

W. A. Studdard died July 9, 1920. He was born June 10, 1844, and married in March 1869. He served in the Civil War, and came to Baxter County in the early days. He leaves his wife, seven sons and two daughters. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. M. Gibbs of the Baptist Church.
