Veteran, Army of the Confederacy (Civil War)
Enlisted first for one year in local infantry called the 'Camden Knights' commanded by Cpt. W. L. Crenshaw. This became Co C, 1st regiment AR infantry (1) commander Col James F. Fagan (2) Col John W. Colwit. His enlistment was up early in 1862 when they were in TN. He re-enlisted in 5th AR Light Artillary Battery. Stayed until the end of war
Nathan Henry Jones was born in about 1833 in Gwinnett County, Georgia and died in Kingsland, Cleveland County, Arkansas in 1900.
