Visitation today for Anna M. Oels, 86, of MH
Anna M. Oels, 86, of Mountain Home, died Saturday (Oct. 20, 1990) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Virgil Davenport officiating. Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Roller Funeral Home with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at the East Oakland Cemetery.
Mrs. Oels, was born on Nov. 18, 1903, at Mountain Home, where she was a lifetime resident. She was a retired nurse's aide for Baxter County Regional Hospital and Saltzman-Guenthner Clinic. She married John Franklin Oels on Aug. 28, 1921, at Mountain Home and was a member of the East Oakland Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by both parents, George Lawson and Ona Bell Wadkins Cox, her husband, John Oels, two sons, two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Robert and Leon Oels of Mountain Home; three daughters, E.I. Oels; Lois Hopper of Springdale; Yvonne Ross of Mountain Home; three brothers, Bill, Leonard and Vernon Cox, all of Mountain Home, three sisters, Elsie Douglas and Maizie Cox, both of Mountain Home and Zelma Brown of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Charles Ross, Doug Oakes, J.L. Campbell, Larry Cox, Junior Cox and Dale Cox.
Honorary pallbearers are Doug Oels, Robert Hopper, Bryan Adams, Roger Ross, Kip Blakely and Aaron Oels.
