Wanda Mae Hughes
JONESBORO Wanda Mae Hughes, 71, died Monday, June 9, 2008, at her residence.
She was born July 15, 1936, at Childress to the late Clarence and Alice Howerton.
Survivors include a son, Gary Hughes of Paragould; daughters and their husbands, Donna and Paul Parks of Alicia and Susie and Ross Presley of Jonesboro; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Hill; her second husband, Burnis Hughes; and a son, Stephen Hill.
A celebration of her life will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Gregg Funeral Home Chapel at Jonesboro with Butch Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Log Cemetery.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jimmy Presley, Daniel Presley, Bryan Craig, Jeff Jones, Doyle Jones and Johnny Gardner.
Visitation will be tonight from 6 until 8 p.m. in Gregg Funeral Home at Jonesboro.
