DRUMMOND, Ruth - Ruth Drummond, daughter of W.F. Drummond and wife, died April 9th at the home of her grandparents, P.W. Drummond and wife, three and one-half miles northwest of Rogers. Ruth was born June 27th, 1903 at Ohiowa, Nebraska; moved with her parents to Richland, Mo. in 1907 where she lived until about six weeks ago when she, with her parents, came here to visit at the home of P.W. Drummond. She was sick but a few days. Although her suffering was very great she bore it with the utmost patience. Funeral services were held at the family residence at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 10th by Rev. W.R. Nelson of the First M.E. church. The interment was in the Rogers cemetery. The sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved family.
