Jeff Biggers
Jeff Biggers, a pioneer citizen of this county, died at his home north of town Monday afternoon at 2:25. Mr. Biggers was in town Saturday of last week and appeared in as good a health as usual. He ate a hearty dinner Sunday and was taken ill some time Sunday afternoon. He was 81 years of age and was well known here. He was a good man and will be sadly missed by all of his family and neighbors. He is survived by his wife and four daughters, Mrs. Will Studdard, Mrs. E. A. Studdard, Mrs. Will Hulsenbeck, Mrs. Ida Jennings and Miss Agnes Studdard. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Oakland Baptist Church where he was a member and burial was in the Oakland Cemetery.
