William Wesley Boyer
JONESBORO -- William Wesley Boyer, 81, of Jonesboro died Monday evening, Feb. 27, 2006, at the Skilcare Nursing Home in Jonesboro. He was born in Strawberry and was a longtime salesman for Jonesboro Bearing and the Napa Store in Weiner.
Survivors include his step-daughter, Lana Zirbel of Weiner; one sister, Dula Douglas of Hoxie; three stepgrandchildren; and four stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Thurman Boyer and Jennie Jane Massey Boyer; one brother, Jim Boyer; and one sister, Maxola Holder.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 2, at 11 a.m. at the Penn Cemetery, located between Strawberry and Lynn. Darrell Douglas will officiate.
Boyer was a member of the Church of Christ at Midway. There will be no visitation. Langford-Bookout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Weiner Fire Department at Weiner and the Penn Cemetery Fund near Strawberry.
Note:
Georgia died 29 Apr 2006 her burial was in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Poinsett County, Arkansas.
