Charles M. Phillips, 56, of Norfork, died Saturday (Feb 6, 1993) at his residence. Funeral Mass will be at 10AM Thursday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Celebrant will be the Rev. Francis D. Colavechio. A vigil service will be at 7:30PM Thursday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel.
Visitation will be from 9AM to 8PM Wednesday at Roller Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 8PM. Burial will be at Burnt Schoolhouse Cemetery.

He had lived in Norfork since moving from Denver, Co, in 1991. He was a retired ramp serviceman for Trans World Airlines.

Mr. Phillips was born April 30, 1936, at Estill, SC, son of Katie and Loyal Phillips. His parents preceded him in death.

An Air Force veteran, he was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. He was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons, The National Rifle Association and the TWA Credit Union. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Marian Phillips of Norfork; three daughters, Kathy Robins and Patricia Phillips, both of Westminister, CO, and Linda Parish of Cherry Creek, CO, and two sisters Roma Weimer of Union City, OH and Mary Lou Hoggart of Hurt, VA.

He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bill Carr, Ray Hudzik, Stuart Ellsworth, Frank Robins, Roger Lindblad and Jim Parish. Warren Helms will be an honorary pallbearer.

Roller Funeral Hom is in charge of arrangements.
