Gwen Partee, age 70 of Mountain Home, a life long native of Baxter County, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2006. She was born October 23, 1935 to the late Rudolph and Hazel (Beard) Torrance.
Mrs. Partee married Winfred Partee June 16, 1953 in Norfork at the Norfork Baptist Church. She was a charter member of East Side Baptist Church and was retired from Baxter Lab in Mountain Home.
Mrs. Partee is survived by her husband of 53 years: Winfred Partee, two sons: Rudy Partee and wife Jennifer of Mountain Home and Michael Partee and wife Tracey of Norfork, one sister: Betty Wolf and husband Gary of Lenexa, Kansas, four grandchildren: Christopher, Joshua, Kendra and Brittany, four great grandchildren: Christian, Zachary, Michael and Zander and two nieces: Shanna and Megan. She was preceded in death by one son: David Partee and one grandaughter: Nichole Partee.
