MITCHELL, M.A. LONDAGIN - Mrs. Geo. W. Mitchell died at her home in Bloomfield, Ark. March 15, 1902 in the eighty-second year of her age. Miss M.A. Londagin was born in Meigs county, Tenn. in 1820. She was married to Geo. W. Mitchell in December 1845. In 1850 they came to Arkansas to make for themselves a home. Her God has blessed them in many ways. By faithfulness and industry they have built themselves a comfortable home. During these years ten children have come to bless their home, seven boys and three girls. The eldest child, Elizabeth, died in May 1865. The other children were all present. Sister Mitchell professed faith in Christ in 1840 and united with the Missionary Baptist church. She was a quiet but faithful follower of our Lord and Master and a dear lover of her home and family. Funeral services were held at the residence on Tuesday afternoon, March 18th, attended by a large number of friends and relatives who came to witness the last sad rites to the departed. The aged husband and father and the children have the sympathy of the community.
