Billy “Bill” Mack Perdue, 78, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at his home in Bella Vista. He was born on October 5, 1927 in Haskell, Texas to Baylor Mack Perdue and Kate (Stovall) Perdue.

He was a Veteran in the United States Navy during World War II, having served in the South Pacific aboard the USS Bougainville. He lived in Mountain Home, Arkansas for 20 years before moving to Bella Vista one year ago. He was a former member of the Mt. Home Baptist Church. He was a member of the Village Baptist Church of Bella Vista. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and was an avid basketball and football fan.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Maxine Stout.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Caroline Brooks Perdue of Bella Vista, Arkansas; one son, Rodney Perdue and wife, Pam of Brenham, Texas; one daughter, Jan Johnson and husband, Larry of Cassville, Missouri; one niece, Carol Donovan; one nephew, Roger Stout; four grandchildren, Shyla Jano, Billy Perdue, Shane Powell, Jeff Powell, and three great-grandchildren, Coy Perdue, Caden Jano and Lexie Perdue.
