Mr. Leslie C. Blount, age 67 of Salesville passed away December 9, 2009 at Select Specialty
Hospital in Springfield, MO. He was born Dec. 2, 1942 in Parkdale, Arkansas to Thomas. L. and Mildred Adcock Blount. He married Debra Patton in Casa Grande, Arizona in 1977. He worked as a roughneck in the oil fields. Leslie was a member of the NRA and enjoyed fishing, hunting and lived for his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Blount of Salesville; a son, Leslie (Lisa) Blount, Jr. of Oregon; 4 daughters: Kay (Kevin) Mitchell of Arizona, Jennifer (Reuben) Coy of Harrison, AR, Crystal and fiancé Rocky of Salesville and Misty (Jesse) Foster of Salesville; 3 sisters: Betty Anderson of Salesville, Orene McCain of California and Martha Blount of Arizona; a brother, Donny Blount of Mountain Home; 12 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ronnie Blount, 3 sisters and 3 brothers.
