MITCHELL, S.D. -- Malcom NOLES, 46, of Mitchell died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, at his home, of natural causes.
Malcom Ray NOLES was born Feb. 3, 1960, in Millington, Tenn., to Ray and Dorothy Holmes NOLES. He graduated from Valley View High School in Jonesboro. He married Elda Montalvo April 18, 1987, in San Isidro, Texas. They lived in Memphis, Oklahoma City, Austin, Texas, Dallas and had been residents of Mitchell since 2003.
He was a lab technician with Sun Chemical. He was a member of the Mitchell Softball Association and the Mitchell Dart Association.
Malcom is survived by his wife, Elda of Mitchell; his parents, Ray and Dorothy NOLES of Jonesboro; five children, Matt NOLES and wife Paige and Jennifer Mullis and husband Cliff of Jonesboro and Audrey NOLES, Andrea NOLES and Grant NOLES of Mitchell; four grandchildren, Mason Mullis, Brayden Mullis, Cooper NOLES and Kendalynn Wipf; one sister, Donna Hester and husband, Frank of Dallas; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alberto Montalvo and Julie Alaniz Montalvo of San Isidro.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Rex Holt and Pastor Dave Burgess officiating and burial to follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
