BLACK ROCK - Funeral services for Howard Van Beavers, 89, of Black Rock, who died Saturday, Feb. 9, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church at Annieville. Jerry Clements will officiate, assisted by Jimmy Thompson and Warner Allen.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie.
Active pallbearers will include Gary Martin, David Martin, Paul Beavers, Creston Hutton, Blake Jones, Tracy Jones, Matthew Jones and Brock Wheeler.
Honorary pallbearers will include Tib Clements, Dot Foley, Marvin Burns, Tom Marbry, Jerry Foley, Coy Slusser and Bob Thomlison.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
