Bentonville - Charlie Kinley Goodnight, 74, of Pea Ridge, died Thursday in a local hospital. Born March 14, 1900 near Pea Ridge, the son of Rufus and Frances Tabb Goodnight, he was a member of the Church of Christ.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Hattie Goodnight of the home; one son, Charles of Parson, Kan.; two daughters, Mrs. Ruby Stephens and Mrs. Emogene Stephens, both of Bentonville; one step-son, Dale Sims of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Findley of Bentonville; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Burns Funeral Chapel with burial in Dug Hill Cemetery.
