Mrs. Johanna “Joan” Dore, age 76 of Mountain Home passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at her home. Johanna Dore was born July 7, 1933 in County Limerick, Ireland to Michael and Catherine (Sheehan) Enright. She married Nicholas J. Dore on February 4, 1961 in Astoria, Long Island, NY. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. Johanna was a professed member of the Discalseds Carmelites.
Mrs. Johanna Dore is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Nicholas Dore, 3 daughters: Joanne Cintron (Carl), Marguerite Bergin (George, Sr.) and Catherine Dore; 1 son, Nicholas Dore (Edith), 7 grandchildren: Anthony, Michael, Jessica, George, Jessica, Patrick, and Nicholas; 1 brother: Michael Enright (Teresa); 2 sisters: Rena Tynan (Joseph), and Anne Waterman (John). She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Mary.
A wake for Mrs. Dore will be held Saturday, from noon to 9PM and visitation for Mrs. Dore will be Noon – 9 PM Sunday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends 6-8 PM Sunday and a Vigil Service at 7:00 PM with Deacon Richard Linstad officiating. A funeral mass will be 10AM, Monday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Rev. James Fanrak, Celebrant. Entombment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens’ Mausoleum of the Good Shepherd. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of the Ozarks.
