Funeral services for Mrs. Emily “Millie” Gump, age 93 of Mountain Home will be 10:00 AM Saturday at the Redeemer Lutheran Church with Reverend Kenneth Taglauer officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until service time at the Redeemer Lutheran Church. Mrs. Gump passed away August 24 at the Care Manor Nursing Home.
Millie Gump was born May 14, 1912 in Chicago, IL to Joseph and Suzanna Jarabak Hustava. She married Chester R. Gump June 18, 1932 in Chicago. Mrs. Gump was a beautician. Mr. and Mrs. Gump moved to Mountain Home in 1973 from Elmhurst, IL. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, Baxter Regional Medical Center Auxiliary, Cheer Club and Sunshine Ladies of Redeemer Lutheran Church, National Association of Retired Federal Employees and the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Gump is survived by three children: son: Ronald Gump of Key West, Florida; daughters: Carol Kleppin (Ernest) of Summerville, South Carolina and Marilyn Kane (Edward) of Wheaton, IL; Grandchildren: Ernest Kleppin, IV, Christopher Kleppin (Christina), Laura Kukuk (Tony) and Michael Kane (Michelle); Great Grandchildren: Alexandra Kane, Alexis and Nicole Kukuk; Sister: Bess Breitweiser of Highland, Indiana. Mrs. Gump was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers and two sisters.
