Leo Kosarek, age 71, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, died Wednesday, April 30, 2008. Visitation will be from Noon-9P.M. Sunday with the family receiving friends from 6-8P.M. at Roller Funeral Home. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 P.M. Sunday in the Roller Chapel with Deacon Richard Linstad officiating. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday in St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Charles Kanu as celebrant. Entombment will be in the Mausoleum of Honor in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Kosarek was born December 17, 1936 in Chicago. He was a retired truck driver, had owned the Panther Heights Restaurant by Lake Norfork, and had served as a funeral director's assistant at Roller Funeral Home. He sang tenor in St. Peter’s Adult choir.
Survivors are: sons: David Kosarek: Maple Park, Illinois; and Leo Kosarek, Jr.: Elgin, Illinois; daughters: Kathy Kosarek: Carol Stream, Illinois; and Doreen Kosarek: Elgin, Illinois; brothers: William Dominiak: Joliet, Illinois; and James Dominiak: Palos Heights, Illinois; an aunt: Joyce Kosarek: Chicago, Illinois; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leo and Angeline; and a brother: Donald Kosarek.
Memorials may be made to the music fund of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church.
